《Hollywood Reporter》的报道中最令人意外的是《生化危机》第四部电影的消息，第三部刚刚开镜，第四部就已经投拍，显然CAPCOM和片商们准备将《生化危机》的剩余价值全部榨干才会甘心。第四集《生化危机》由德国Constantin Film AG公司拍摄，本片将会以东京为背景，不过目前还没有进一步消息。
