《When you wish upon a star》这首歌曲在美国具有非常高的知名度，路易斯阿姆斯壮曾经用其浑厚的嗓音演绎此曲。自1997年以后迪士尼所有电影均用此曲和睡美人的城堡作为片头，意在表达只要你有梦想即可实现的愿景。

其中歌曲出处，《木偶奇遇记》描绘了一个小木偶的故事，小木偶被造他的木匠盖比特取名为“匹诺曹”，同时又被善良的仙女赋予了新生命。但是，他必须通过勇气、忠心以及诚实的考验，才能成为一个真正的男孩子。
