范文：Zhang Yimou, born in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province on April 2, 1950, is a Chinese film director, one of the representatives of the "fifth generation director", and an honorary doctor of Boston University and Yale University.

He entered the Photography Department of Beijing Film Academy in 1978.

After graation in 1982, he was assigned to Guangxi film studio. In 1984, he worked as a photographer for the first time in the film one and eight, and won the excellent photographer award of Chinese film

张艺谋，1950年4月2日出生于陕西省西安市，中国电影导演，“第五代导演”代表人物之一，美国波士顿大学、耶鲁大学荣誉博士。

1978年进入北京电影学院摄影系学习。1982年毕业后分配到广西电影制片厂。1984年在电影《一个和八个》中首次担任摄影师，获中国电影优秀摄影师奖。
