主演是加里·格蘭特和黛博拉·蔻兒.
其實《西雅圖夜未眠》不算是翻拍的，只是受到了《金玉盟》啟發，從之前的片子中剪切了一部分，並且他的主題曲用了《金玉盟》的An affair to remember.

鮮為人知的是，這部電影是導演根據自己1939年《緣分的天空》（Love Affair，又譯《風流韻事》）重拍的經典煽情片，曾迷倒50年代的痴情男女。90年代的《西雅圖夜未眠》將本片作為劇情參照物，獲得新一代觀眾的認同。本片情節豐富感人，拍攝手法雖然比較老派，但主角的出色表演將這段陰錯陽差的愛情詮釋得十分動人，尤其適合嚮往浪漫真愛的女性欣賞。1994年由華倫·比提和安妮特·本寧再度重拍，片名改回原來的《Love Affair》，中譯名有《愛你》、《想你》、《戀你》等。
本片的主題曲《An Affair to Remember (Our Love Affair)》也很受歡迎。由哈利·華倫作曲，Leo McCarey 和 Harold Adamson 作詞。片頭歌曲由Vic Damone演唱，並且在片中由德博拉·克爾所飾演的一個夜總會的歌手所演唱。Marni Nixon是德博拉·克爾的代唱，她也曾在影片《國王與我》中為德博拉·克爾代唱。
